Active DAS

Unlock the benefits of WilsonPro Hybrid DAS

Typically used for buildings and facilities up to 500k square ft.

Open modularity and design for coverage across frequencies and protocols (e.g. CBRS radio, First Responder coverage, Band 71 or C-Band) without having to replace the entire network.

The only Hybrid DAS that enables wideband or channelized optimization.

RF over fiber provides high speed data transmission and ensures scalability, low latency, and high bandwidth capacity for future growth.

Looking for more ways to contribute to sustainability goals?

WilsonPro Hybrid DAS consumes 10X less energy than nearest competitor. Exceptionally energy-efficient, maximizing power and gains without wasteful use of electrical power, reducing total power consumption costs.

WilsonPro exclusive technology

WilsonPro Hybrid DAS solutions feature exclusive "invented-first" technology across key components.

Single-layer wideband

XDR - eXtended Dynamic Range technology. Ensures gains are optimized up and down, avoiding network overload or amplifier shutdowns.

dynamic-Scanning-icon-min

Precise Channel Optimization. Using our new, exclusive precision channel optimizing technology, you can continuously optimize signal strength and quality of each individual or contiguous channel on all 5 (low range) bands

Wilson Open Design system

Dynamic Scanning. Continuously scans the macro network environment, detecting performance gaps in outdoor signal strength across each individual channel within all 5 bands (12/17, 13, 5, 4, 25).

Secure RF over Fiber

Multi-tower Targeting. Variable antenna configurations so that signals can be received from multiple towers at the same time.

Analog fiber

Adaptable Use Modes. Because each environment is different, we give you the option to configure in either wideband or channelized mode, based on signal strength.

Analog fiber

Secure RF over Fiber: RF over fiber for intrusion resistance and greater capacity.

WilsonPro Hybrid DAS provides fast optimization and scalability across industries.

The pace of business slows when connectivity slows. WilsonPro Hybrid DAS provides the versatility needed for the uninterrupted flow of business.

Frequently asked questions about
WilsonPro solutions.

What is a DAS system?

A distributed antenna system (DAS) is a network of antennas connected to a common signal source to optimize cellular signals for in-building wireless connectivity. A DAS enhances cellular connectivity in areas with poor signal strength in buildings.

What’s the difference between a Passive, Active and Hybrid system?

The difference between a passive BDA is in the collection and distribution of cell signals.

In a passive DAS solution, the signal is collected from outside signals and distributed by coax cable.
In an active DAS solution, a signal is generated through a direct connection to a signal source, (i.e. base station, small cell, femtocell, or private network) and fiber optics are leveraged for greater coverage and signal quality.
A Hybrid DAS solution collects signal from an outside signal source and uses fiber optics for coverage and quality.
